Bubble Sculpting

Fire Bubbles I’ve taken up “Bubble Sculpting” after making some of my own bronze bubble sculpting wands to make giant bubbles for my son. Click on the image of the fire bubbles (see the two still intact ones in the picture?) to see a photo gallery of pictures.  More information on how to use the wands is available on my OrangeLobster website and news about these adventures are found in my bubble sculpting blog.

I’ve taken up “sculpting giant bubbles” for fun, relaxation and exercise. I was with my family in Vienna and saw an amazing street busker making giant bubbles as a show. My son and all the kids in viewing distance went wild for them as did the adults. When we got home I made a pair and spent many days playing with my son and evenings relaxing making giant bubbles. The best part about these bubbles is that each one is different. Some pop, some float far away into the sky, some are long, some split into two, some merge into one, some reflect colors – but all are fun to watch or to pop. Anyway, people started asking if my wands were for sale and now they are. Bubbles for everyone!

The Wands

Construction: Hand crafted from silicon bronze rod, these bubble wands make giant bubbles with ease. Hand-formed, silver soldered handles give a comfortable grip, no sharp edges. Cord weighed down with a stainless steel nut and held onto wands with stainless steel jump-rings that are also silver soldered to tip of each wand. Will not rust, but could get a slight green patina which is natural for bronze items.
